The project involves the removal of existing dwellings and the construction of a residential apartment complex, encompassing 44 units and underground parking facilities.
6 JOAN AVENUE, WARILLA, NSW
We conducted a comprehensive flood study that incorporated a 2D (two dimensional) TUFLOW model to evaluate flood behaviour within the site and its surroundings. This study was instrumental in meeting the flood controls outlined in Shellharbour City Council's Development Control Plan (DCP) and the Local Environmental Plan (LEP) to support the Development Application (DA). The project has been successfully completed, and the DA has received official approval.
37 MONTEITH STREET, TURRAMURRA, NSW
FloodProtect was engaged with the task of creating an extensive flood study for the site, which was impacted by local overland flooding. Our dedicated team conducted a detailed flood risk assessment, working closely with Ku-ring-gai Council's DCP (2023) Part 24 guidelines, to ensure compliance with flood planning level requirements and other pertinent flood controls. Technical guidance and support were provided to the architects to align the project with crucial flood planning criteria.
